Description
Here is a rare chance to purchase a putter from the first batch of 50 MA/66 heads that I ever had CNC milled, here in Phoenix. It is #46 of the first 50 and was certainly one of the very first pieces done using a long neck hosel. Being #46, I know that it was made for testing, as I pulled from the high numbers and ran backwards with those numbers for special use putters.
The face on this putter is very unique. It was done using two different cutters and every circle is created separately on the Bridgeport manual mill, no computers in use to guide the cutters, just my hand and eye.
You are also looking at one of the very first MA/66's done in my "Super Nickel" plating. It is a nickel plating that is infused with Teflon and has a look and feel that is like nothing else on the market.
Being a test putter, this head was milled to 2.5* and I advise to keep that loft intact. It is honestly made for use on very fast, smooth and well-groomed greens and will treat the new owner well, should that where it lands.
The stamping is pure fun and I called it Alphabet Soup. Headweight is in the 346-350 range and it can be cut to any length needed and topped with a PURE Classic Putter grip in standard or midsize.
This putter is built and assembled and can be shipped within 24 hours of purchase, in most cases.
